At the invitation of Judith Gooding, March of Dimes’ National Director, NICU Initiatives & Chapter Program Strategy, representatives from EFCNI and their global alliance partner Little Big Souls (Africa) visited the NICU at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center where they experienced the Family Support Program and met with Dr. John Schreiber and his team. Another stop was at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (part of Harvard Medical School), a large inner city hospital with approx. 8,000 births a year and 58 NICU places.
