A Strong Start for Little Heroes

After the very successful premiere in 2016, EFCNI proudly presents the continuation of its large-scale initiative in 2017: Neonatal intensive care units in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland were invited to celebrate World Prematurity Day on 17 November with in-house events. EFCNI offered them an enhanced action package for the celebration of their event(s)! More than 170 hospitals will participate in 'A Strong start for little heroes' 2017.

"We are overwhelmed with the great participation in 2017. About 170 hospitals have registered their NICU for participating in 'A Strong start for little heroes'. The subscribing period has ended and the action packages will be delivered within the next weeks. The tension is raising and World Prematurity Day is knocking on the door. We wish all participants a successful preparation!"

Silke Mader, Chairwoman of EFCNI’s Executive Board

EFCNI warmly thanks the collaborating project partners for their support: Gesellschaft für Neonatologie und Pädiatrische Intensivmedizin (GNPI), Bildungsinstitut Fachbereiche Gesundheitswesen (B.F.G.), Berufsverband Kinderkrankenpflege Österreich, Bunter Kreis Bundesverband, Bundesverband der Kinder- und Jugendärzte (BVKJ), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Pränatal- und Geburtsmedizin (DGPGM), Deutsche Stiftung Kranke Neugeborene (DSKN), Österreichische Gesellschaft für Kinder- und Jugendheilkunde (ÖGKJ), Österreichisches Hebammengremium, Stiftung Kindergesundheit und Uplift-Aufwind.
